Simpson Revamps 2026 Motorcycle Helmets with New Designs, M30 Model & Twiceme Safety

Simpson’s revitalization of its Motorcycle helmet range is gathering pace in 2026 with the introduction of attractive new colorways, build-quality improvements, and some brand-new helmet designs.
The brand’s biggest selling models – Outlaw Bandit 3, Ghost Bandit, Speed, and Mod Bandit – are all now available in the four core colors of Gloss Black, Matte Black, Gloss White and Armor (grey). There is also a Carbon version of each of these mainline helmets.
But in addition, a range of eye-catching highlight products – new colorways and special shell finishes – join the range for 2026. Let’s take a look at each in turn.
Outlaw Bandit 3 - Schultz Designz

We begin with the Snell-2025-approved and DOT-rated Outlaw Bandit 3, which receives a beautiful red, black, and gold design from renowned helmet painter, Taylor Schultz of Schultz Designz. This collaboration features a floral lace motif on the top and an earthy texture on the sides.
Forged Carbon Ghost Bandit

Moving on, the Forged Carbon Ghost Bandit – previously available as a limited edition – returns for 2026 in the full-year range. “This was a huge hit, so it’s back by popular demand,” says Jamie Beckett, Director of Motorcycle for Simpson helmets. Beckett notes that, as with every 2026 mainline colorway, the Forged Carbon will be available through all of Simpson’s dealers and direct-to-consumer sales channels.
Like every Ghost Bandit, the Forged Carbon has a fully ventilated shell for maximum airflow, and integrated speaker and microphone pockets that make it easy to install your favorite communications device.
Mod Bandit
The Mod Bandit, Simpson Motorcycle’s most popular model, also benefits from multiple new colorways in 2026. The first is a Forged Carbon version that receives a forged carbon outer shell while retaining a black composite chin bar. It is joined in the Mod Bandit range by the returning, Forged Carbon-based Simpson x Buell collaboration helmet that debuted in 2025. While continuing to sell through Buell Motorcycle dealers, this product will additionally be available through all the usual Simpson dealers and retail channels.
Sporting a very different look to the Buell helmet is the Wildfire Mod Bandit, which is a new-for-2026 design. It comes with a classic, hot-rod-flame paint job, in colorful Yellow or stealthy Grey. “We’re also introducing the Glory Future Mod Bandit,” adds Beckett. “This throws back to the 2017 Ghost Bandit Glory but incorporates a ghost-flame effect to the stars and stripes. I’m really excited about it.”

Speed Bandit
Next, it’s the Speed Bandit. It may be Simpson’s entry-level motorcycle helmet, retailing for under $300, but aside from the core colors it too now comes optionally with two different, special decorations from Simpson’s product team.
First up, the Americana adds striping up top and a stars-and-stripes design around the base. There are two versions: Classic (red, white, and blue flag, on a black base), and Gold (white, black, and gold).
The second special design for the Speed Bandit is the 12 O’clock. As the name suggests, the Simpson logo on the upper rear of the helmet is designed to appear centered and straight while you’re doing a 12 o’clock wheelie. Applied to a gloss black shell, the lettering is available in white or lime green.

All-new motorcycle helmets for 2026
But the 2026 line is not just about hot new helmet colorways for Simpson Motorcycle. This year will also mark the introduction of several all-new helmet models, of which the first – the M30 – is available right away. The newcomer carries the classic lines of the RX-1 that was beloved by motorcycle racers of the late-1970s and early ’80s, but reimagines it with modern engineering and cutting-edge protection, achieving dual-certification to both DOT and ECE 22.06 standards.
“We drew on our heritage and wanted to bring that culture of who Simpson is into the modern era with a badass motorcycle helmet,” says Beckett. “We’ve updated the interior, and the fit and finish of the helmet are next generation. The M30 is also prepped for the Shock Doctor Eject emergency removal system and modern communication systems.”
In addition to the four core colors, the M30 will be available from the start in two special decorations. Lifter is a red-and-blue design on a white shell with a café racer vibe. The second, Slipline, is a throwback to Simpson’s roots: its red, orange, and yellow stripes on a black shell were originally used on Simpson jackets. The Slipline Carbon, with gold and silver striping, completes the M30 line.
Heading off-road, in summer 2026, Simpson will expand the full-face Xcursion line with two versions of the Summit Xcursion, which features a topographical design. Its sister helmet, the Journey – which has a flip-up visor – will continue with the existing Dalton colorways in Armor Grey, high-vis White/Yellow, or Blue/White.
Beckett notes that Xcursion and Journey, which were introduced in 2025, are proving popular with adventure motorcycle riders and powersports enthusiasts alike. “These helmets represent everything that we’ve been working towards in terms of product quality, and reflect what consumers can expect from Simpson moving forward,” he says.
Further developments are coming soon. Beginning in Q2 of 2026, all Simpson helmets will come with Twiceme Technology’s smart safety solution integrated as standard, and at no extra cost. Working with the Twiceme app, an RFID tag inside the helmet can help share your location in real time, provide a link to vital medical information, and trigger an alert if you don’t check in as planned, or are rendered immobile.
Also be on the look out for the all-new M62 and M52 helmets, which will be launched in the summer, as well as new, upgraded iterations of existing models, which are scheduled to appear later in the year. “Simpson is latching on to its roots with great new designs, and focusing on product quality and safety,” sums up Beckett. “It’s going to be a busy year.”
